While I really dont expect something like this to be implemented, it would be cool if you could ping the map or maybe even make Etch-a-Stetch like lines on the map to indicate to your teammate something you'd like him to do or be aware of.

yeah highlighting a square or unit would be cool to show where you want someone to move or attack.

Cool i don't have to start a new thread for this.  This would make coop way more fun.  Too much work to use text chat to try to describe which unit exactly needs to do what.  If you could draw on the screen you could even write in so you could circle your partner's healer and draw an arrow to your 10/43 dracolich and save him instead of getting killed for no reason and losing the game...  I mean, for example.
