I just installed Gish 1.5 (on Gentoo Linux), and it is creating a directory named 'gish' in my homedir.

This is a great step up from putting those file in the game folder, but it really should be named '.gish'. As is, it appears in regular file listings and otherwise clutters things up.

Is there an argument I can pass to use a different directory?

My current workaround is to set $HOME to ~/.gish.

There is currently no way to customize the gish folder in your homedir.  I will look into this.

The next update will change this folder to be hidden by default.  This update should be released late next week.

This is fixed in version 1.52 which is available now in the normal download locations.
