Press R/F while an unfinished beam is hanging off your cursor. If you want to avoid switching back & forth, using the "shift" key often comes in handy.

Ok, just a few quick questions.....

1. Why are there supports (supports meaning the cement blocks you build off of) in a level i.e. lvl9, but there is no way to use them?  Or, is there a way to use them and I am just missing the boat??

2. I have seen pics in the forums of pieces of steel with more than a few criss crossing tubes in them (more than the default number) how do you do that?

3. How do you take screen shots of your bridges to post them in this forum?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nick

Short answer: RTFM ':)'

Detailed answer:

1. There is a way to use them, of course. In complex mode, use the R and F keys to move forward and back.

2. Not sure what you mean, I'm pretty certain the steel beams always look the same. Take a closer look at the shots, it must be multiple beams or something similar that you were looking at.

3. Use the F8 key.
