I think you can make the car come back across the bridge, you need to use a number of way points to get it to turn around though, try making it do a wide loop to turn around and then head back across the bridge.

When I created a new level and altered the terrain the road wont show propper, I see 2 bits of road instead of a full one. Is this because ive edited the terrain? I have each section of the terrain where the vehicle will travel all flat apart from the fact that its higher than other parts of terrain.

That is correct, when the terrain in unlevel areas of the road will not show correctly.

Can the object only travel one way? By this I mean say I give a car 2 way points, 1st waypoint goes to the right (accross bridge) and the 2nd points back to where the car started from. I tried this and the car kept going out of control and ended up on its side  '<img'>
