Contest 1 Screenshots!

But seriously, as people are finishing their bridges, it would be great if they could get a screenshot ready and then post it to this thread as soon as the contest ends Friday at:

11:59pm GMT
03:59pm PST
06:59pm EST

I know I'd really like to see all the different ideas people came up with for the contest.  Even if your bridge cost 趚,000, it'd be nice to see it.

The above picture is cropped to 844x286 and was saved as a 41k 64-color GIF... I would suggest everybody do at little bit of cropping so we don't have ten 1024x768 screenshots on each page of the thread.  It would be nice to try and keep the picture well under 100k.

I guess if you don't want to experience the unbearable pain and suffering of losing this "silly contest" then you shouldn't have entered a bridge.  I for one think that having winners and losers is an inescapable part of reality, and furthermore, that the posts in this thread to the contrary are very off-topic.  That said, since the contest results are due out any minute now I will post my entry.  All those who feel the least bit insecure about their entry need not risk the long-term mental anguish associated with clicking on this link:

You'd have to have a seriously small browser cache for a few 50k files to be a problem... but whatever people prefer.

Yeah, definitely post a link if at all possible.  If anyone has a server and they wouldn't mind hosting peoples' screenshots from now on, that'd be most excellent.

I wonder if it would be bad if we put up our screenshots now.  If people are careful to hide the cost in their screenshots, we could just look at the screenshots and sort of eyeball who the top candidates are, it wouldn't spoil the surprise of who actually won.

I think that people could find out by re creating the bridge in pontifex

How about we call the whole thing off? Having winner's and loser's just hurts people's feelings.

In fact I think no one should be allowed to compare. All bridges no matter what design should pass for any budge requirement on any difficulty setting.

I agree that we should just call this silly contest a draw.  We all did our best and that makes us all winners!!

We should stop Pontificating about the rules, and prices, and just share our bridges on a common I-Drive account or something.
