I did the exact same thing, once you get used to the new look it really grows on you.

BTW, i switched back from the new eye-candy version to the old release (6.18.02) and realized that it is unplayable without the eye-candy-things anymore Wink.

Other then the new look, the score is one digit larger, another combo has been added, and the score counts faster when your bonus gets very high.  Also a couple of minor multi-tasking improvements were added.
