I think it would be neat to have a way to take down your good bridges. Like explosive charges for example. How about a detonate button and programmable timers on the charges. Maybe different size charges for different effectiveness throughout. Load the train even.

Given the current events I don't think that would be the greatest Idea

Just my opinion though

While I am greatly angered by the attacks of the 11th, and vow that I will give my life if necessary in the service of my country to see terrorists eradicated from the face of the earth, I think it is important to keep things in perspective.

That said, are we going to forbid our children from playing "Bomberman?"

Well, that's the way they take old highrises down - dynamite them. The challenge is to do it in such a way as to not cause undue damage in the vicinity.
What I really want to express is that this is a commonly used technique in wrecking today.
Current events have nothing to do with it.

SMB2 also has bombs... guess I'm taking my GBA back to the store.  Well, not until I've messed it up trying to add a frontlight using a CCFL. Extended warranties are good like that.

Again this is just what I think but bombs would not make this game any more popular.

Especialy after 9/11

I think it could be very interesting to have pre-built bridges, and you're given a budget with which to take the bridge down.  You can spend the budget on various explosive charges, and figure out where best to place them that will destroy the most of the bridge.  You could have restrictions on how many pieces are left intact to be hauled out of the river and such.  Sounds interesting.  ':)'

I agree with mendel on this one; it would be about bridge demolition, not terrorists trying to blow up the bridge.  Not everything that explodes needs to be on CNN 24/7.
