So far Win XP compatability mode has done nothing for me except crash anything it tries to run!

Two thumbs down for XP!

Works fine in XP as long as you have the OpenGL drivers for your card. I installed them for mine and it zooms along.

You have to download and install manufacturer drivers for your graphics card. Windows XP does not support hardware OpenGL acceleration out of the box. Seems Billyboy does not like OpenGL, prefers directX.

XP has an compatibility mode that might help some that are haveing problems in XP.
Right click on the game shortcut, select properties the the compatibility tab.
Check mark "Run this program in compatiblity mode for:"
you can select one of these.
win95 - win98/me - NT4 Service pack 5 - Win2k
As for myself I have XP on a Dell inspiron 8000 with gforce2go and no problems here.
